I will say both magazines performed flawlessly for me, however the P398 magazines were slightly easier to load by hand. After another day at the range, I have concluded that my big hands have a significantly better grip on my Sig P938 when I use their extended magazine. The way the base juts forward (left, in the picture below) provides a perfect rest for my pinky finger, and also tends to jam my fingers closer together when I squeeze the grip.
