Personally I think Chinchilla looks like a dirty grey kind of a pile of dust color and the minks are soft. Yes I agree with above reply! Also a difference in texture: the mink has more of a soft, swirl med/short fur feel to it. But the chinchilla is more popular bc it is a more plush, dense and soft fur feel. It depends what you prefer!
